Stucco guides
Straight answers about stucco
Most people who call us have already been looking at a wall for weeks, trying to work out whether it matters. These guides are what we would tell you before quoting anything — including the times the answer is that you do not need us.
Start with the question you actually have
Each one answers a single question and tells you what you can determine yourself — and what genuinely cannot be worked out from the outside of a wall.

Read the guideA wall you understand is a wall you cannot be oversold on
Stucco is unusually hard to buy. The failure is often invisible, the person telling you what is wrong is the same person selling the fix, and the difference between a repair and a replacement can be an order of magnitude in price.
So these guides give away the diagnosis. Several of them will tell you that what you are looking at is cosmetic, or that the job is a painting job, or that the right thing to do is watch it for thirty days and see whether it moves.
That is deliberate. We would rather lose a job we should not have had than sell you a wall you did not need.
